Photo Shoot

Yesterday my awesome cousin Lucy did my hair and make up and took some great photos of me... I was suprised with the results.

...Happy new years eve by the way! Wow it's been an eventful year, 2007 is JUST around the corner. Tonight with my friend Amrita I am seeing the fire works in the city of melbourne. Then I will be staying the night at Amrita's house! It's night time in the big city (what a good phase Hus!)!! Hope you all have a great new year and hope your resolutions actually sucseed!

Meeting Amrita

My uncle Hussy dropped me off at the local train station today. By myself I caught the train to the city train station - Flinder St - near Federal Square. I met my friend Amrita who I haven't seen for 5 years! (Amrita was my best friend, she used to live in my street and then she moved to Africa, then India. Now she lives in Melbourne with her sister). It felt so weird seeing her again but we were very happy to see eachother. We caught a Tram to Melbourne Centrual where we had KFC for lunch. We talked about old memories together and I called Suzie, and Amrita had abit of a chat to her. For nearly 4 hours we shopped around and talked. We went to a shop "7 angel" with a 50% sale. I bought 2 dresses, a tank top and from "Supre" I bought a tie up silver belt and shoes for a about $50 total. Amrita showed me around the melbourne city, it is so big and nice. We saw horses with carages and lots of big tall buildings. Then before my cousin Lucy picked me up Amrita gave me some chocolate for christmas and showed me a skirt and coat that she made/sewed herself! Lucy and I then went shopping, I bought some hair product spray and a comb. We then went home. Now I am playing with Freiya so I will go now, cya.

Boxing Day and the day After

Yesterday (Boxing Day) I woke up at 6am. In the morning Hussy dropped me off at my Uncle John and Aunt Donna's house - I met them for the first time (John is my mum's brother). I met their daughters (my cousins) Alex (16 yrs old) and Louise (15 yrs old). We dropped Alex off at work, then quickly stopped off at Louise's grandparents and Donna's sisters house before driving a 2 and a half hours trip to my Uncle Brian and Aunt Kathy's house. I met my cousins (on my mums side of the family) Piper (9 yrs old), Louis (12 yrs old), Elizabeth (5 yrs old), Madaline (9 yrs old), James (11 yrs old) and Alex this morning for the first time. Elizabeth and Madalines dad was there too (he is my Uncle Bruse) - He dressed up as Santa Claus and gave out christmas presents for everyone. I got a stawberry flavoured candle with a glass plate, heart hole cutter, 2 pens, people paper clips, bath soap and products with a washer, angel brouch, nailpolish and a diary. My grandma Kathy and grandpa Keith were also there. My aunty Allison (my mums sister) was also there - I met her for the first time. After the party my grandparents, Allison and her children (my cousins) Piper and Louis went to my grandparents house where we stayed the night.

Today Piper, Louis and I were being silly, Louis started throughing chocolates at us. We talked for a while and had breakfast. Uncle Brian came over with his Jack Russle dog and then when everyone except grandparents left grandparents and I went in the car and drove to my uncle Hussy's house so I could be dropped off. We stopped off at Mcdonalds for lunch and then when we arrived at my uncle Hussy's house my grandparents talked to him and my aunty for a while before going home. Then Lucy put blonde steaks/highlights in my hair which look really good, thanks Lucy! Then Dahli and Lucy took turns in straightening my hair. Played with Freiya for a while and talked to my Lucy, Dahli and Hassanah around the breakfast table before going to bed. I will add some photos in from the last 2 days when I recieve them.

I don't know what I would do without you all, I love you with all my heart. A big hug to my other cousin Isabella who couldn't be with us today, but you were here with us in spirt.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas Everyone... Today has been a lovely day. For breakfast we had pancakes and for lunch we had salmon, chicken/beef kababs, prawns, vegetables, salad, etc. Then Uncle Micheal, Hussy, Hassanah, Lizzy, Lucy, Dahli, Freiya and I all gathered in a circle for present opening, it took 2 and a half hours just to open the presents because we have a tradition where we open one by one so we can share the christmas spirt and see everyones reactions to the presents, it was really nice. I got chocolate, a pedomiter and bird which balances from Hussy, a little bag made by Dahli, a beautiful dragon fly necklace made by Isabella, hair products in a bag from Lucy, a cat calender from Hassanah, a chinese paint brush from Michael and and my aunt Julia and a gift voucher for supre from Lizzy. I had a nice chat to my dad and grandma and also my grandma in Victoria on the phone. Tomorrow I will be seeing my grandpa and grandma that live in Victoria. Thank-You to my great family for all the presents and love, I love you all so very much xoxo. Later today we are having roast for dinner. I am off now, happy boxing day for tomorrow.

Chrsitmas Eve

It's Christmas Eve today and Christmas is just around the corner... Today me and my cousins Lizzy and Dahli went christmas shopping. It was suprising to see free parks and not so much crowd, but whos complaining? Lizzy and I went food shopping for tomorrow while Dahli bought some christmas presents. Then we went home. We put some shoes on Freiya, she was so excited and happy and started crying when we took them off. Later on just before Freiya and Dahli went for an afternoon rest my Uncle-in-law Michael came over with some blue berries, yum! It was so nice that he could join us for christmas, even though he has been putting up with fires for a while near his house, I love him so much. Dahli and Freiya just came down and now we are happily playing with Freiya. Then later on we had a very delicious macaroni dinner made by Lizzy and then we had some crackers and cheese for snacks. It's really cold outside now because it has been raining, now we are just relaxing. Anyway I'm off for now, bye!

My Beatiful Second Cousin Freiya

Some dot points on today:
* Freiya tried to escape when we were having the party, she walked all the way to the school near the house and if it wasn't for my uncle Hussy who knows where she could have gone? Hussy saw her while he went to get something out of his car and he was thinking "whats that", then he realised it was Freiya.
*When the other baby was over he was sucking on a smooth stone and Freiya saw. Then I saw Freiya walking over to me and I could slightly see something grey in her mouth but I had no idea what it was, then all of a sudden she spat out a smooth stone.
*I was playing this game with freiya, moving a blanket really fast near her and over her... she laughed so much and really enjoyed it!

Dahli's 25th Birthday

Today has been a great day. Yesterday by plane I went to Melbourne, where I am now. Yesterday night my cousin Elizabeth, my aunt Hassanah and I made a cake for my cousin Dahli's birthday, it looked like DNA because Dahli is into science. Today we had a birthday party for Dahli, with lots of delicious food and many smiles. Lots of people came over with children, and I had a nice time playing with the kids, including my second cousin Freiya (9 1/2 months old). Dahli loved the cake. Later when everyone had left to go home Dahli's friend from the mum's group came over with her 13 month year old baby boy; we put the babies in the weel burrow and pushed them around, they loved it. Then they went home. My cousin Lucy and I have been talking about hairstyles, Lucy said blow wave my hair and maybe put highlights in my hair, I can't wait! When I get some photos loaded onto the computer I will attach them too this blog.

Farewell Kristina!

Kristina is my friend in the middle. She came to Australia for a year (2006) from America, because her dad has to move around quite a bit for his job. It was amazing how you can make such a special and great friend in such a short amount of time. After 6 months of Kristina being at my school she told us she will be leaving (going back to America) at the end of the year. Even then we were sad but by the end of the year, even though we were sad she was leaving, we were so happy to have shared the year with such a caring, bright and lovely person. Behind Kristina's back we organized little gifts and gave them to her on her last day. Joanna made a beautiful DVD with photos and memories for Kristina, and my friend Mandy and I made a lovely scrap book full of photos, poems and everyones farewell messages.

All Dolled up!

This is a photo of my friend Ruby (right) and I at our friend Mari's halloween party. At the party there were so many great costumes with our friends dressed up as the devil, a gorilla, a lady bird, a cow boy etc. It was great fun. We danced to music, talked and had "fingers" (biscuits) and snacks to eat.
